We were told we would be attending a “performance.” The father of the girl on the left founded a school for children with Down Syndrome. There they are taught dance and painting. The dancers put on a most-memorable performance for us before inviting us to dance with them. We were all moved to tears. An unexpected highlight of our week in Cuba.
